	Smooth landing

Repaving began at the Lincolnton/Lincoln County Airport this week. The repaving is the first of many improvements that are set to be made at the airport over the coming years. Airport officials will also start work on removing trees from the safety area, adding 28 T-hangars and five private hangars, relocating Airport Drive and extending the taxiway. Total cost of all the improvements is around $3.6 million. (LTN photo by Jenny Walling)
