November 6, 2002 - Four local runners, (from left to right) Jared Webb, Luis Soto, Beri Huitt, and Brittany Beeker, competed in the State
2-A Cross Country Championships at Winston-Salem's Tanglewood Park Saturday. Lincolnton's Webb finished sixth in the boys race to make the all-state team. He ran a time of 17:21.85. Soto finished 21
seconds behind him to get 14th place.

after leading his team to a 39-14 win against East Gaston. Tinsley rushed 18 times for 224 yards, with touchdown runs of 8 and 45 yards.
